High-Definition Playback and Recording via HDMI The Xacti HD2’s docking cradle sports an HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) terminal for pristine, high-quality A/V signal transfer. To further expand your viewing options, it also features a set of component outputs (comprising 3-pin YCbCr terminals) and an output to USB. HDMI is a digital interface standard for AV equipment. It was adapted from DVI (Digital Visual Interface) display connection technology, which is based on TMDS (Transition-Minimized Differential Signalling). Connection to TV, VCR, DVD Recorder and PC With the Xacti HD2, back-up copies of recorded content can be made on a VCR or DVD recorder during playback. For high-quality MPEG-4 digital recording, meanwhile, the HD2 offers convenient connection to a PC.
