Xacti - the Ideal Tool for Your Web Communications

The Xacti CG65 employs the high-compression MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, which helps keep video file sizes more manageable. Now you can enjoy greatly expanded reach with your video content — you can post it on a website, add it to a blog or use it in a podcast. What’s more, there’s no need to convert the file format of a video recorded on the CG65 when uploading it to a website or playing it back on a video-supporting iPod®. Simply drag and drop the file via your PC, and you’re ready to go. Using the CG65 like this will open up exciting new possibilities on the internet. You’ll be able to share the visual fun of your video or photo journal, for example, on a video-sharing site or social networking service like MySpace.

Easy Playback and Recording Using the Included Cables

Connection to TV
Captured stills and video clips can easily be played back on a TV.

Connection to VCR or DVD Recorder

Stills and video clips can be played back and recorded in sequential order.

Connection to PC

Images on the Xacti CG65 are digitally recorded in the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, and so are compatible with a host of PC applications. After saving your images onto your hard disk, you’re free to edit them as you wish.

PictBridge, Exif Print & PIM III Support

Simply connect the Xacti CG65 (via the included USB cable) to a PictBridge-supporting printer, and your chosen snapshots can be printed out directly from a printer — there’s no need for a PC. Furthermore, if you use a printer that supports Exif Print, the camera settings used at the time the picture was taken (and which are stored in the image file) can be printed along with the image. When the Xacti CG65 is connected to a printer that supports PRINT Image Matching III, meanwhile, the camera's own color and brightness settings are reflected in the printed output.
