Known for his security rounds played with Apple’s Mac OS X and iOS, the renowned Charlie Miller now works for the Department of Defense of the United States.
It’s a name that has often been about him during the Pwn2Own hacking contest. Charlie Miller is a security researcher emeritus who has made a small specialty to reveal security flaws in Apple systems, whether Mac OS X or iOS.
Last month, Charlie Miller had already done about him being ejected from the program developer of the firm at the apple, and deleting an application Instastock was made between the cracks of the App Store.
Instastock enabled to view real-time stock information. Via security vulnerability in IOS, the application was nevertheless able to communicate with a remote computer for infection and what to take control of an iPhone or iPad. A form of proof of concept did not please Apple.
Remember that Apple has asked Charlie Miller and other security experts to examine the code including Mac OS X Lion prior to launch.
Charlie Miller has all but had the reputation of any Apple device that resists it. Until recently security researcher for Accuvant Labs, Charlie Miller is now working with the Department of Defense of the United States to offer his advice on cybersecurity.
Guests at a conference organized by the Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence of NATO (Estonia), Charlie Miller held that the law should require for software vendors to make their code more secure.
Charlie Miller has worked five years for the National Security Agency of the United States, the famous NSA.
